This musical comedy whodunit tracks the misadventures of wise-cracking producers, leggy chorus girls, star-struck gangsters and a lovable detective. It unfolds in 1959 at a Boston theater where a new musical could be a Broadway hit except for its talent-free leading lady. When the hapless star dies opening night, Lieutenant Frank Cioffi arrives to investigate. Ah, but the irresistible lure of the theater finds the detective divided between making the show a hit and solving the murder. This 2007-08 Broadway smash is by the creators of such classics as Cabaret, Chicago, and Kiss of the Spider Woman.

This Stephen Sondheim multiple award-winning musical is a somewhat fractured fairy tale fantasy. A baker and his wife cannot have a child unless they do the bidding of the witch next door. Good thing they've got neighbors like Jack (of beanstalk fame), Little Red Riding Hood, and Cinderella to help out. They discover a whole new meaning to what can happen when dreams do come true - and it isn't always happily ever after. The 1987-88 Broadway hit received 10 Tony nominations and three wins and the 2002 Broadway revival received 10 Tony nominations and two wins including Best Revival of a Musical.
