Chevron Family Theatre Festival

The second annual Chevron Family Theatre Festival, held on July 26, 2008, featured more than two dozen professional family performances in the Center’s three theaters, lobbies and outside areas. Free activities and events surrounded the Center, including prince and princess walks, storytelling, costumed characters, puppet making, puppet shows, live music, sword fighting demonstrations, balloons, and games. Performers included The Sippy Cups, Fantasy Forum Actors Ensemble, Pushcart Players, Rosen Family Singers, San Jose Taiko Drummers, interactive percussionists Glank, Scientific Jam and Polynesian dancers Na Mamo No'eau.

Annual Gala Fund Raiser: On Broadway - Bright Lights, Big Cities

On Broadway is the Lesher Center for the Arts' signature gala held annually and hosted by the Diablo Regional Arts Association to support the enrichment of creative programming at the Center. Featuring an original one-of-a-kind Broadway musical production, live and silent auctions, raffles and an elegant three-course dinner, this event sells out every year. Proceeds from the event are used to enrich the quality of artistic programming within the Lesher Center for the Arts.
The 2007 gala: On Broadway: Life, You Gotta Love It occurred Saturday, October 13 at the Diablo Country Club. The The event broke all previous fundraising efforts, bringing in $230,000 to support quality enhancement programs at the Lesher Center for the Arts.

The Diablo Regional Arts Association's 11th annual Honorary Producers Luncheon took place on Wednesday, March 5, 2008. This dynamic event brings local business leaders together for a unique dining experience on the Hofmann stage while celebrating the unique synergy between the arts and commerce.
Proceeds benefit the high-quality productions and outreach programs at the Lesher Center for the Arts.
