Written by Louisa May Alcott
Adapted by Peter Clapham
In this classic tale of four sisters dealing with the deprivations of the Civil War, we meet the fiercely independent Jo, the romantic Meg, the devoted Beth, and the mischievous young Amy. These Victorian girls have so much Yankee grit they can't be subdued by circumstance. They make Christmas merry on mere pennies, attend balls in old frocks; they fight, forgive, fall in love, fail, and strive to become the women they were meant to be. One day, one of the sisters will put pen to page and tell their story.
Running Time: approx. 2 hours 10 minutes, with one intermission
