The Lesher Center offers a variety of services, aimed to welcome all abilities and needs into an easy and pleasant theatre experience. Our dedicated team is ready to assist with any questions, concerns or special requests ahead of your visit. We cannot wait to welcome you!

Braille signage is available throughout the Lesher Center, identifying restrooms and all theatres.

Large print programs are available with two weeks’ notice. To request a large print program, contact the Ticket Office, email or (925) 943-7469. *Please note that not all performances at the Lesher Center produce a printed program.

American Sign Language

Sign Language Interpretation

We are proud to collaborate with Velvet Hands and Beyond the Words Interpreting Services to offer scheduled American Sign Language (ASL) interpreted performances. View a complete list of our scheduled accessible programs.

ASL interpretation services may be available for other performances with two weeks' notice. To request ASL interpretation services, contact the Ticket Office, email or (925) 943-7469.

 Assistive Listening Devices

Assistive Listening Devices

Assistive Listening Devices (ALD), which amplify and clarify sound, are available for use on a first-come, first-served basis, free of charge. We ask for a driver’s license or credit card as a deposit for each device. All theatres within the Lesher Center are equipped with FM Listen Technologies systems. 

Each ALD has a headphone jack that is compatible with a neckloop, which works with telecoil compatible hearing aids, or headphones.  We are pleased to offer sanitized neckloops and headphones for use, or guests may bring their own personal wired headphones with a 3.5 mm jack.

Wheelchair Accessible

Wheelchair Accessibility

All public spaces within the Lesher Center are wheelchair accessible, including Bedford Gallery, all three levels of the Lesher Center, and all public restrooms. We offer designated areas for wheelchair users who wish to remain in their wheelchair, and for those who prefer to transfer to a theatre seat, within all of our theatres. Adjacent guest seating is also available for purchase. For assistance selecting the best seat locations, contact the Ticket Office, email or (925) 943-7469.

Care Providers

We welcome care providers to help their clients navigate our lobby areas and restrooms, and to help their clients into theatre seats. Care providers are given full access to their clients during a performance, but all care providers must have a purchased ticket to remain in the theatre during a performance. Lesher Center staff and volunteers are not trained care providers, and may only offer minimal assistance.

 Accessible Service Animal

We encourage and welcome all service animals. For assistance selecting the best seats, contact the Ticket Office, email or call (925) 943-7469. We kindly ask for pet animals who are not certified service animals to stay home.

Family-Friendly Services

All women's and men's public restrooms include Koala Kare baby changing stations and touchless fixtures.

Koala Kare booster seats are available for use on a first-come, first-served basis, free of charge.
