Violist Young J. Kim, recognized for her delicate and profound musicality, passionate bowing, and dazzling technique with superb and total fluidity, has garnered critical acclaim as a performer. She demonstrated her innate musical talent early on by securing first place in various viola categories at numerous competitions in Korea. Having graduated with a major in Viola from Yonsei University in Korea, she furthered her education in Germany. She obtained a Diplom (Master's degree for professional performers) and a Konzert Examen (Doctorate for the highest level of performers) from the National Leipzig University of Music. During her time at Yonsei University, she initiated collaborative performances with the Yonsei Symphony Orchestra, marking the beginning of her diverse musical endeavors. She has been dedicated to various performance activities, collaborating with different orchestras at the Korea Bucheon City Art Center and Seoul Art Center. Additionally, she engaged in solo performances at Leipzig Musikhochschule Kammermusiksaal and Grossesaal in Germany, collaborated with the West-Sachsisches Symphony Orchestra, and participated in recitals at Seoul Art Center Recital Hall, Seoul Yongsan Grace Hall, Geumho Art Hall, and a recital invited by Experimentica at the Cardiff Chapter Art Center in England. Her solo performances have been prominent on stages in both Korea and Europe. With an exceptional passion for music, she has shown a special fondness for contemporary music, performing modern music in various European countries, including Germany Einblinke Modern Music, Germany Kagel Invitation Modern Music Festival, and Germany/Switzerland Modern Music Festival. Additionally, she actively contributes to the field of modern music in Europe. She serves as the Principal Baroque Viola Player in Bachsolisten Seoul Baroque Orchestra, expanding her musical expertise into the realm of Baroque music. She served as the Principal Viola Player in the Yongin Philharmonic Orchestra and currently holds the position of Principal Baroque Viola Player in Bachsolisten Seoul Baroque Orchestra. Additionally, she founded the String Quintet IGNIS ensemble, where she has been an active member for over a decade, participating in regular concerts, including recording activities for the 10th-anniversary commemorative album "MUSICA" under the Sony Classical label. Furthermore, Young J. Kim extends her influence in the music community by serving as a professor at music schools and universities, demonstrating a commitment to nurturing the next generation of musicians.

Pianist Dmitriy Cogan, is a native Moscow where he studied at the Central Music School. Emigrating to the U.S. in 1974, he studied conducting at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. He then attended Juilliard School of Music in New York, receiving Bachelor and Master of Music degrees. He performed his solo debut in Carnegie Recital Hall, was a prize winner in the 1981 Kosciuszko Chopin Competition, and has performed in major concert halls all over the world. Since 1985 he has also performed throughout North America and Asia with violinist Alexander Markov; their first compact disc was released worldwide on the Erato label.
