Special Family Friendly Public Walking Tour: 11 am

Kids (and grownups!) will love this super interactive walking tour of Walnut Creek's public art, including Fountain Head by Seyed
Alavi, Sure Enough by Patrick Dougherty, Hand of Peace by Beniamino Bufano, and Bullman with Bulldog by Gerald Heffernon, and more. 

The tour will be lead by one of our trained docents who offer information and insight into each artwork that is appropriate for all ages. Each art piece in the tour will include a fun art activity! 

Tour meets in front of the Lesher Center for the Arts on the plaza, 1601 Civic Drive. Wear comfortable shoes & sun screen. 

Tickets:
Adult $5
18 years or younger are free. 

You may purchase tickets here OR pay (cash only) in person. Ticket includes admission passes to Bedford Gallery to see the current exhibition 'The World of Frida.'

Bedford Gallery offers one hour docent-led walking tours of Walnut Creek's wonderful downtown public art collection every third Saturday, April through November. Our Docents are trained by public art specialists and can offer information and insight appropriate for all ages.

Time: Tours start at 11 a.m. and meets in front of the Lesher Center for the Arts on the plaza. Wear comfortable shoes & sun screen. Tours are approximately 1 hour.

Cost: $5/person and includes admission to Bedford Gallery. Reservations not required. Cash only. 

Tour #1 - Around the Lesher Center for the Arts, City Hall, and Civic Park.
